There are several opportunities for Teens to meet and grow socially, spiritually and mentally.

Preparing for Confirmation is a 2 year process. Students should plan on attending both their 7th and 8th grade years to be confirmed. Students in parochial and non-parochial schools prepare for the sacrament through the Parish Faith Formation Program. We offer a program that combines a variety of learning experiences. This is a great program; helping teens learn and become excited about their Catholic faith.

Here at St. John the Baptist we believe that formation in the faith will lead us there.
We offer 4 main blocks of study to deepen our understanding of Christ and His church.

YOU,   a 10 part study based on St. Pope John Paul II writings;  Theology of the Body.

The YAB groups are designed to give young people a sense of belonging to the Body of Christ through fellowship with peers and adult mentors, through spiritual formation, and through service to the Church and community. We provide opportunities to participate in social justice, spiritual and social activities that will nurture personal, spiritual and social growth as well as encourage a sense of responsibility to live out their faith each day by loving themselves and by loving others.
