As a community of faith, we care about one another especially in times of sickness or other distress. In scripture, people came to Jesus or were brought to him by their friends for healing. That is the purpose of the email prayer chain.

This association meets on Monday evenings to knit and crochet. In addition to working on their own individual knitting or crochet projects, they serve the community by prayerfully creating shawls or lap blankets for the ill and bereaved. The ladies often work on fun seasonal items, share patterns and assist each other.

The work of the Vocation Ministry is to pray and to develop uplifting, encouraging, educational activities that create a fertile environment so that God can plant the seed and the Holy Spirit can water that seed in the hearts of individuals. The activities fall within three major categories: Prayer, Education/Awareness, and Affirmation. Prayer for vocations is first and foremost, and it will transform a parish in God’s time.
