Parish Nursing Program
Parish Nursing Ministry services are focused on strengthening individuals, families and the faith communities through the integration of faith and health. The ministry includes health education and promotion, development of support groups and coordination of health volunteers, and referrals and counseling. Common activities of parish nurses are: organizing health fairs and screenings, educational activities through newsletters and classes, visiting with ill members of the parish, developing and operating support groups and working with other members of the ministerial team to improve the health of the parish.
