Religious Education
Saint John the Baptist Parish offers a comprehensive Religious Education program for children age 3 through 8th grade. Students in both parochial schools and non-parochial schools prepare to receive the Sacraments through the Parish Religious Education Program. Pre-school through 8th grade classes are offered from September through April. Classes are held on Sunday mornings between the masses beginning at 9:45 AM in the Saint John the Baptist Elementary School.
Intergenerational and Adult Faith Formation programs are scheduled throughout the year and are communicated through the bulletin and this website. All parishioners are welcome and encouraged to attend these events.
A Vacation Bible School is held each summer in June for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Youth from 6th grade and older are encouraged to volunteer as camp counselors.
All parish education programs depend on volunteer to serve as catechists, classroom assistants, and help with special projects. If you are interested in being a volunteer, please contact Kristen Mullen at (801) 984-7112.
