Welcome to our Sunday Sanctuary Make Up Lesson for Week 2.15
Download and print the 2025 02 09 The Beatitudes Worksheet Make Up Lesson handout (attached below). Your student will use this for the activity. They will need something to write with.
Parents, you will need the Beatitude Descriptions For Make Up Lesson handout (attached below). You don't need to print it, just be able to read it.
To complete the lesson follow these directions:
- If you didn't attend mass on Sunday, February 9, watch mass below. By watching mass, you are showing your student that mass is important. This also gives you a fantastic opportunity to work with your student on their mass journal. Have your student write in their mass journal using one of the Mass Journal Bingo prompts. Be sure to date the entry.
- Watch the Sanctuary lesson below. The lesson begins at 11:05.
- At 20:12 minutes into the video, pause the video to complete the activity.
- Read to your child each Beatitude description from the Beatitude Descriptions For Make Up Lesson handout. After you read a description, have your student try to figure out which Beatitude it is describing. They will use the 2025 02 09 The Beatitudes Worksheet Make Up Lesson handout. They should write the description number in the first column. At the end of the Beatitude Descriptions For Make Up Lesson handout you will find all the correct answers for your student.
