This summer, we will be traveling to Billings, Montana! Our mission trip will be from June 27, 2022 - July 3, 2022.
We will all meet at the Church and will be travelling by a charter bus to get there!
Cost is expected to be under $500. More information to come!
Spaces are limited! To reserve your spot, you will have to pay the $100 deposit and the registration form found above. This payment is refundable until March 1st. Full payment is due by April 1st.
The fee includes the registration for the camp, all meals during Workcamp (except on free day), lodging, Youth Ministry T-Shirt, and our free day activity.
This camp is open to students entering the 8th grade and above in Fall 2022!
Throughout the week (Monday - Friday), students will spend the bulk of their day at their worksites, where they work on their designated service project.
After they return to our Catholic HEART Workcamp homebase in the afternoon, there will be some free time to hang out and play games with other students.
There will always be an evening program during our work week.
On Saturday, we have a free day, where we will be traveling to Gardiner, Montana.
You won't find out what service assignment you will do throughout the week, but you will have an opportunity to choose your preference.
Please be aware it is not guaranteed that you will be assigned to the service project you chose. CHWC's purpose is to serve others so we ask you to have an open mind for the project that you are assigned and trust where God places you for the week.
Service assignments include:
- Work project (painting, indoor clean up, maintenance, repair work, outdoor yardwork)
- Work with children at day care centers for low-income families
- Work at a social service center (homeless shelter, food distribution center, outreach center)
To save a spot for your student, you must do 2 things:
- complete the Youth Ministry Registration Form (found above)
and
- pay the $100 deposit.
You can come to the office and pay via cash, check, or credit card. Or you can pay online via our website.
Of course! To help offset the cost of the bus, Youth Ministry will be doing several fundraising events this year!
We will be whitewater rafting in Montana!
If you do not want to whitewater raft, there will be a different activity you can do instead. This activity is TBA.
Yes! Catholic HEART Workcamp provides students with a minimum of 30 hours of service for their work throughout the week.
Proof of service will be provided to students from Ms. Liz after attending Catholic HEART Workcamp.
