Our youth group gatherings provide an outlet for our every middle schooler and high schooler to learn more about the Catholic faith and how it may pertain to their daily lives.

Our Youth Ministry is designed to give young people a sense of belonging to the Body of Christ through fellowship with peers and adult mentors, through spiritual formation, and through service to the Church and community. We provide opportunities to learn about our Catholic faith, engage in spiritual events, and various social activities that will nurture personal, spiritual and social growth as well as encourage a sense of responsibility to live out their faith each day by loving themselves and by loving others.

SJB has a Youth Group for middle schoolers and a Youth Group for high schoolers. We gather every other week to learn about their faith, develop relationships with their peers and adult mentors, pray, and participate in social justice events.

We emphasize the importance of our faith not by just talking about our faith; but by living out our faith! We strive to convince each young person that each one of them has the potential to change the world by being Jesus to others, and seeing Jesus in others. Examples of some of the activities include: visiting retirement centers, homeless shelters & soup kitchens; “Game Nights” at the church; praying the rosary; hikes; Lip Sync Battles; and ice cream socials.
